Last Call! 130% Tax Break on New IT kit.

Posted in: Microsoft 27/04/22

For business, these have been a challenging couple of years and we now have 25% Corporation Tax to look forward to.

However, there is a tax concession running until 31st March 2023 which softens the blow for many businesses awaiting the end of Life for Server 2012 Server Operating Systems and the introduction of Windows 11 Desktop Estates.

How it Works.

If you spend £20,000 on a new IT System you get to claim a deduction of £26,000 from your taxable profits in this tax year. This is the final year for this break.

What exclusions are there?

The only main exclusion is of partnerships such as accountants, lawyers or architects, and sole traders and other businesses not paying corporation tax.
If you buy equipment on now and sell it on in a couple of years you will have to pay the tax break back.

IT Ambulance can help you make the most of this concession. Book a consultation today.
