Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is the minimum level of security accreditation that we expect our managed service customers to achieve independently. Whilst our ISO27001 certification holds us to a higher level of attainment in how we manage our customers systems and deal with your data, Cyber Essentials is the standard you should look to achieve within your business whilst underpinned by our processes and services.

Cyber Essentials is a UK Government endorsed scheme underpinned by processes directed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). It is an established component of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance which covers any Personally Identifiable Information of prospective customers , customers or staff. Accordingly, if you wish to compete for Public Sector work or avoid fines from the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) then Cyber Essentials is a necessary benchmark.

Having built our service on giving your organisation the ability to win this accreditation we are of course well versed in helping you pass the external audit and achieve the accreditation. This is why we say IT Ambulance is a “Centre of Excellence” for Cyber Essentials.
