Quality policy

IT Ambulance provides a high quality cost effective solution for outsourced business IT support to our customers. This may take the form of defining hardware and software solutions and installing and maintaining the IT systems as required. IT Ambulance aims to exceed the expectation of our customers by identifying faults before they occur and working invisibly in their systems.

This is achieved by using the best industry techniques and management control programme and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement by developing staff within the business and ensuring staff are trained on new practices and legal requirements.

During 2018 IT Ambulance brought the requirements of GDPR in relation to IT systems to the attention of customers and in many instances carried out compliance surveys and remedial actions for them. IT Ambulance IT systems are certified by Cyber Essentials and we encourage and support customers to attain the same compliance.

Quality key performance indicators are regularly reviewed and appropriate improvements made.

The business management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and IT Ambulance is committed to maintaining this standard.

Management commitment to quality

The management has a continuing commitment to:

  • Enhance customer satisfaction, ensuring customer needs and expectations are determined and fulfilled.
  • Communicate the Quality Policy and relevant sections of the Business Management System to all members of the organisation.
  • Continually improve the effectiveness of the Business Management System (BMS).
  • Communicate throughout the organisation the importance of following the BMS and meeting customer needs and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain certification of the BMS to the current ISO 9001 standard.
  • Support a programme of internal audits to ensure requirement of the BMS are being met and that the BMS is meeting customer needs.
  • Review regularly the Quality Policy and its quality objectives.
  • Ensure the Management review takes place in line with the requirements of the BMS and ISO 9001, considering objective achievement, customer feedback, supplier performance, internal audits, external influences and document reviews.
  • Share the Management review or extracts from the Management review with individual members of staff in accordance with their roles and responsibilities to demonstrate the effectiveness of the BMS.
  • Uphold the Quality policy and the requirements of the BMS.
