IT Ambulance Ltd is an IT Support company based in Zeals Wiltshire, with offices in both London and Aylesbury.

We require a Book-keeper on a part-time basis for 15- 20 hours a week, which we are happy to split over 3 days. This position would be based at our HQ in Zeals, allowing you to help with the day to day customer queries and Book- keeping duties.

You would be required to work closely with and report to the Chief Financial Officer. There would also be a need to work on your own for part of the 15 hours each week.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Bank Reconciliation to include processing of entries to the accounts, (sales receipts, supplier payments etc)
  • Credit Card Reconciliation – as above
  • Customer Invoicing in conjunction with the Sales Team and internal software used
  • Liaising with staff to ensure internal ticket system has been used to lodge all extra billable hours
  • Processing Supplier Invoices and accruing/prepaying at month end
  • Dealing with invoice queries both sales and purchases and any discrepancies
  • Monthly Control Account Reconciliations
  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts on a timely basis and reporting to the CFO and Director
  • VAT Preparation and process of quarterly returns
  • Year End file preparation to TB stage under the guidance of our Accountant
  • Deputizing for the CFO if required regarding debt collection and credit control, monthly payroll, NEST reporting, processing supplier payments.
  • Any other general accounts duties that may be required.

The Help Desk role at IT Ambulance meets our demand for a full time internal technical recourse to support our busy field based technicians, promote quicker access to telephone support across our business and cover the routine checks that protect our business and that of our customers.

The Role:

The candidate will work within a close knit team from our attractive rural premises in Zeals, Wiltshire, covering Telephone Support and Remote Support requests and supporting our field based technicians.

Routine work will include daily checking and managing of customer backups, competing scheduled maintenance and investigating issues; proactively and as flagged by our monitoring and management tools. Clear concise reporting is important.

Support Domain Name Services through our portal.

Centralize control of broadband services provided to our customers, both onboarding and fault management.

Structure updates to Customer Audits and documentation.

Support Customer Services with System Performance Reports.

It is anticipated that the candidate will take a central role in guiding and managing the growth of both our Help Desk serving our other offices centrally.
